Preparation:
> Top should be clean and pressed, free of all pins and a "check over" done for any
seams that need to be stiched.

> Do not baste quilt top

Backing:
> Fabric should be square with straight edges.

> The fabric for the back should be at least 4 inches longer and 4 inches wider than the top.
